Commemorating Its 50th Anniversary, PTDI Holds Commemorative Assembly and Provides Business Legality and Halal Certification Socialization for Assisted MSMEs
Bandung (24/08) – As it enters its 50th year, PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) (PTDI)
continues to reaffirm its commitment to strengthening the national aerospace
industry while delivering benefits to the community. This commitment was
demonstrated through PTDI’s 50th Anniversary Commemorative Assembly, held today
(24/08) at the PTDI Delivery Center Apron in Bandung, attended by the Board of
Directors, management, and all PTDI employees. On this occasion, a number of
Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) activities were also carried out
as part of PTDI’s 50th anniversary commemoration.
In addition, as part of efforts to strengthen the spirit and commitment
of all Company personnel in facing the evolving challenges of the aerospace
industry, PTDI also presented the 2026 Occupational Safety, Health, and
Environmental Management System Implementation Performance Awards to several
divisions in the workshop and office categories, as an appreciation for their
commitment to implementing occupational safety, health, and environmental
aspects.
Carrying the theme “Golden Legacy, Global Horizon: Safeguarding
National Sovereignty, Soaring on the World Stage,” PTDI’s 50th anniversary
celebration reflects the Company’s five-decade journey while reaffirming a
renewed spirit to strengthen the sovereignty and competitiveness of Indonesia’s
aerospace industry on the global stage.
“Fifty years is not merely a passage of time, but a journey marked by
the courage to dream big, work hard, rise in the face of challenges, and prove
that Indonesia is capable of standing tall in the aerospace industry. What we
have achieved today was born from hard work, sacrifice, and the belief that
Indonesia’s sons and daughters are capable of creating and contributing to
their own skies,” said PTDI President Director, Gita Amperiawan.
Empowering Assisted MSMEs through Business Legality and Halal
Certification
As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, PTDI carried out Social
and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) activities through a socialization
program and facilitation of business legality and halal certification for
PTDI-assisted Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The activity, held
today (24/08) at the Dharma Wanita Building of PTDI in Bandung, was conducted
in collaboration with the West Java Provincial Investment and One-Stop
Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) and Ayo Halal Consultant.
The program was attended by 10 PTDI-assisted MSMEs and aimed to provide
understanding and facilitation for MSME entrepreneurs in fulfilling business
legality requirements through the Business Identification Number (NIB), as well
as obtaining halal certification.
Through this facilitation, PTDI seeks to encourage its assisted MSMEs to
establish stronger business legality while enhancing the competitiveness of
their products through compliance with halal standards. This initiative is
expected to support the development of PTDI-assisted MSMEs in a more
professional and sustainable manner, while also expanding their access to
broader markets.
Delivering Benefits to the Community
In addition to the commemorative assembly and TJSL activities, PTDI’s
50th anniversary celebration also featured various other programs held on the
same day at the PTDI Habiburrahman Mosque. These included a free mass
circumcision program, organized through a collaboration between PTDI and the
Habiburrahman Mosque Management Board (DKM), with medical personnel from the
PTDI Polyclinic. The program was provided free of charge to 50 orphaned
children living around the Company’s surrounding area, who also received
donations during the same occasion.
In addition, a blood donation drive was held on August 20–21, 2026, at
the PTDI Education and Training Building, with the participation of 115 PTDI
employees. All collected blood was distributed through the Indonesian Red Cross
(PMI) Bandung City to help meet the community’s blood needs and support the
availability of blood supplies in the Bandung area.
As PTDI enters its fifth decade, the Company remains committed to
preserving the legacy and experience it has built while taking new steps to
address the future challenges of the aerospace industry. The spirit of “Golden
Legacy, Global Horizon” is embodied not only through strengthening PTDI’s
business and industrial capabilities, but also through the Company’s continued
contribution to the community and the environment surrounding its operations.
